Currently: March 2016

Reading... The Good Luck Girls of Shipwreck Lane by Kelly Harms.
Playing... nothing.
Watching... The Middle.
Trying... to find a different job. Something in the food industry.
Cooking... less. I hate how little cooking I've been doing. But I don't have much time anymore. It's my passion and it's bumming me out.
Drinking... water. I don't drink much, other than juice and water.
Calling... no one.
Texting... no one lately.
Pinning... whatever catches my eye.
Tweeting... random things; freebies, giveaways, etc.
Going...  nowhere. I went to school to sub for a few days this month.
Loving... that March is almost over.
Hating... March. This has been another bad month.
Discovering... more about myself and what I want in life.
Thinking... about changing careers. Teaching preschoolers isn't for me anymore. So, I'm thinking about going into the food industry or another industry in general.
Feeling... tired, lost, and worn out.
Hoping... things with Jose work out. We hit a snag this month, took a break, and things haven't been back to normal since. So, I'm hoping things work out with him (I still want to be with him and all) and things go back to normal with us.
Listening (to)... nothing in particular.
Celebrated... my mom's birthday a few days ago.
Buying... new clothes and stuff at Bath and Body Works.
Smelling... nothing.
Ordering... vital records. Not for myself but for genealogy purposes.
Considering... a career in the food industry.
Starting... to study for my driver's permit test.
Finishing... March.

March Goals

Happy March! Thank god February is over, it was the worst month so far this year. I'm hoping March is better. I don't have many plans for this month besides subbing more at school and making Easter cookies, which I've been making with my mom and grandfather since I was little (RIP grandpa, I miss you everyday). The cookies are a family tradition that my grandfather started making when he was little with my great grandmother.

Anyway, as I said in the early January, I want to make this a good year. I want to improve my life more and not just let the days go by. I would like to move out of my parents house eventually, get my own place with Jose, get a decent paying job, get out of therapy permanently, start driving, and enjoy life.

Today, I'm linking up Jenny at Breakfast At Lilly's for The Road To A Better Me. Since this is my first monthly goal post and I don't normally track my goals, I'm starting small.

  1. Get my permit (again).
  2. Put at least $500 in my savings account.
  3. Blog more.
  4. Do more art journaling and more art in general.
  5. Organize and de-clutter my room.
  6. Develop a side business. This will be through this blog or teaching people how to do something.

The Lost In A Book Tag

I used to love to read when I was kid, then I hated it for awhile, and now I like it. I don't read a lot like I used to as a kid, but I pick up a book every few weeks. I'm currently reading The Good Luck Girls of Shipwreck Lane by Kelly Harms. Such a cute chicklit book! I recommend it!

1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading?
I like to read in my room.

2. Where do you like to read?
In my room, at the beach, or in the park.

3. Bookmark or random piece of paper?
I dog ear the pages.

4. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop at a chapter?
I usually like to finish a chapter before I put the book down, but sometimes I have to stop in the middle of a chapter.

5. Do you eat or drink while reading?
Not really; sometimes I'll eat.

6. E-reader or real book?
A real book. I like to actually hold it in my hand and I read better that way. I can't read on a device and I don't need another device around the house that I have to charge.

7. Music or television while reading?
No! I need peace and quiet; that's why I like reading in at the beach or park. If I read in my room, it's at night when everyone's asleep.

8. One book at a time or several at once?
One book at a time. I can't concentrate with many books.

9. Reading at home or everywhere?
Depends. I usually read when I'm out; again the beach or park.

10. Reading aloud or silently in your head?
Silently.

11. Fiction or non-fiction?
Fiction.

12. Do you read ahead or skip pages?
Nope.

13. Break the spine or keep a book like new?
I try to keep it like new but somehow the spine breaks a bit and the cover gets ruined a little (I carry my book in my bag everyday).

14. Do you write in your books?
No! That's what a journal's for.

15. Your favorite book?
The House of Memories by  and A Fall of Marigolds by

I found this tag on Noor's PlaceI'd love to see what your answers are! So, if you'd like to complete the tag feel free to do so by commenting or writing a blog post.
